A real place to focus.
Studying doesn’t end when class does.
A dedicated desk, monitor, proper chair, and reliable internet put a useful workspace right in your private bedroom.
Why Sam’s Place
Created by a former Air Traffic Controller, Sam’s Place is built around the realities of an extended Academy stay. A place to study, room to rest, and a small Academy household — with the home ready before you arrive.
Experience shapes the details
Studying doesn’t end when class does.
A dedicated desk, monitor, proper chair, and reliable internet put a useful workspace right in your private bedroom.
Demanding days call for your own space.
A private bedroom, blackout curtains, and a quiet residential setting give you room to recharge around your Academy schedule.
Classmates nearby when it helps. Your own space when you need it.
Up to three FAA Academy students share a home, each with a private bedroom. Classmate requests depend on matching dates and availability; placement isn’t guaranteed.
You’re making a home here for months.
Cooking, laundry, and everyday living are already considered. One core standard across our homes and clear communication mean fewer unknowns before arrival.
From a resident who’s been here
“There's no issues with noise or anything like that, it's just a really good environment to get your studying done.”
